CLARA SIDERA OCCULTA SIDERA
Starting from the suggestion of the residency La Stellata in Marina di Pietrasanta, Lucrezia reflected on how human beings have always looked at the stars to understand their destiny or future. In this work, she created twelve cores that resembles stars or meteorites thanks to the raku technique. They are divided in two different categories: six of them deal with the word “considera” (from the latin “going with the stars”) and they have a slot with a galvanized metal plate engraved with a constellation that can be consulted; six of them have to do with the word “desidera” (from the latin “without stars”), they are completely closed and if shaken it is possible to perceive a misterious sound coming from the inner part without knowing for sure what it is inside.

TUTTO QUELLO CHE ANCORA NON SO
Starting from the suggestion of the residency La Stellata in Marina di Pietrasanta, Lucrezia reflected on how human beings have always looked at the stars to understand their destiny or future. She chose among the eighty-eight known constellations the ones that resemble the letters which forms the sentence  “Everything I still don’t know”. This is an affirmation and at the same time a research question, which has led her, through the action of engraving reflective plates, to transpose thoughts into acts and exercises of relating to the uncontrollable in the form of matter.

ASTRALIA FATA
Starting from the suggestion of the residency La Stellata in Marina di Pietrasanta, Lucrezia reflected on how human beings have always looked at the stars to understand their destiny or future.Astralia fata” is like an oracle: spectators are invited to fish from the raku ceramic pot a small medal with a constellation on it which gives a symbolic message on their future. There are around fifty medals with different constellations and different messages.
