Somewhere in between x Cellula Art Project
Site specific installation
Dimensions: 100 x 100 x 50 cm

For Cellula Art Project, Lucrezia Costa creates “Somewhere in between”: a playground that takes inspiration from Aldo Van Eyck play areas realized by the architect after the Second World War in Amsterdam. The artist studies the ambiguity and the economy of shapes and she imagines an exhibition space as an alive place to be experienced by the audience. The viewer can use space and time with a playful approach and think about public and private spaces around the city he lives everyday. By avoiding the “white cube” effect, Lucrezia put together the game and the open call theme “between” and she realizes a space theatre of possibilities and realities.
