It would be so beautiful and easy to live as a tree, being an organism that grows where its roots are. But as humans, we don’t have this privilege and we are exiled and tore apart from our original roots in the very first moment in which we are born. The moment in which we come in contact with the world through our first breath marks the separation from our origin. And we live our life looking for a place, a community, a person in which we can dwell and feel at home. These wearable human roots are the first attempt to create a connection with the surrounding, be it this land, be it the people.
