Wir sind schief aufgewachsen which is We grew up crooked in english, or Siamo cresciuti storti in italian.
A sentence heard while eavesdropping a conversation between a mother and a child on a public transport becomes the excuse to reflect on the human condition. It is connected to the relations we developed with our parents, but also with the education we received in schools, on the way we approach hate, love, happiness and fear, in a society in which we are feeling more and more inadequate. Embroidering is an act of care and patience.
