An attempt to make art with, not about.
In a silent and anonymous backyard, a body is feeding birds that would struggle to survive the winter due to food scarcity.
This project is part of an artistic exploration that focuses on the concepts of loss and pain, but also regeneration and protection. Without pain, we would be alienated, but it is the effort to repair that can bring us back to being part of the world, to feeling that we belong.
I have learnt that being a body means having agency, and it is through a small and silent gesture that this body began its path of healing in solitude and collectively. Against the dryness of our times.
